How I’ve learned to take my own advise

“Those that can’t do, teach” To what does this saying actually hold? Oh and how about… “you give the best relationship advise, but you are still single?” Reply: “Coaches don’t play”… I could relate to this saying and realise now the only reason for this may be because I’m not emotionally invested in the outcome.

I’m able to give the best financial advise to someone, but for some odd reason I’m not so disciplined as what I come across to be. I admit I’ve made few mistakes in my past and honestly have learned from them. But even then I was giving out the best advise that I was not following myself.

My AHA moment happened literally in the shower lol When my insecurities was taking over, after getting no responds after my how you doing text lasted for an entire 2hours! I spoke to myself as in a third person. The logical Verina talking to the emotional Verina. LV said to EV maybe he is just occupied and it’s not the best time for chit chatting. LV was my bff at that moment.

I’ve been letting my emotions make too many decisions in my life and I need to let my emotional side to take a backseat more frequently. Not to say that consulting my emotions is a bad thing, it just finding that balance between the two sides.
