If you had to ask me this question a few months ago, my answer would be “whatever makes you happy, each to their own”. But today, I have a different perspective on this. I think the modern dating and hook-up culture has just screwed-up (pun intended) relationships. Yes, maybe this was always the case before cellphones came along, but these little handy gadgets has amplified and exposed us to so much more, easier options.
This question is more directed to woman. I doubt men even care. I imagine the answer will be “hell yes” lol But truth be told, the decision lies with us ladies. We have more power than what we actually realize. Men need us more than we need them. Please don’t get me wrong, I love men, especially how their minds work. I think why God created man first, because He knew what he was doing. Why God creates us, because man NEEDED us.
So Ladies, when you meet a guy you like, you say to yourself that it’s just sex. Sorry, I find it hard to believe you. You might try to trick yourself into believing this for a short while, but sooner or later, your choices and decisions might come back to haunt you. And it always starts with having self respect. A very close and dear friend of mine pointed this out to me years ago, with no judgement I must say, I knew at the time it come from a place of love.
This article is not to answer the question, but be honest to ourselves and be brave enough to live by the truth.
I think we need one another. We compliment each other. A man has a role to play and a woman has a role to play. I think if we understand what each other’s roles are, makes it easier to get along and makes life a lot simpler.
I’m no expert, but we all man and woman just searching for love. It’s hard to love because of the things that is happening in this world. Deep down that man doesn’t just want sex. He wants a partner to share things with and enjoy life’s journey every single day.
Atleast that’s what I want.
I’m glad you came to this conclusion….finding temporary is easy, finding forever is much harder.
We sacrifice more than what we would in just a moment, but it’s so much more rewarding.
The best thing about aging, is the wisdom that comes with it and the understanding as well as appreciation of things we never gave a second thought to in the past.
We were made for commitment, fidelity, trust, love and acceptance…and only truly appreciate it in maturity
