Prepare to Fail

How often do we start a goal or a project with the fear of failing? That’s not what I’m referring to though. One should always have the positive mindset that you will succeed. If I fail and not prepare myself, this will chip away on my confidence and I’m more likely to give up. I’m talking about is having a back up or “what if” mindset. Just what if I fail, am I prepared to either try again or maybe do it differently.

Sometimes what we want is not always what we need. Yes, we should follow our dreams, but I believe the problem comes when our passion is not what God intended us to do, but rather that passion to lead to a greater purpose. Having Faith is nothing without works and we need to have the courage to start somewhere, even if we don’t know exactly what our purpose is.

Looking back when I wanted that job or home and didn’t get it, I had to have failed in order to have what I have now. I wasn’t ready because something better was in store for me. If we consider every experience as a lesson, is it really ever a fail?
